FAAO offers 24 auction lanes all committed to selling, both in the lanes and on Simulcast.
Simulcast Frequently Asked Questions
I just purchased a car on Simulcast, what happens next?
When logging into Simulcast you should print, fillout and fax back the buyers sheet. That will give us all your information. Your purchase confirmations will come to you via e-mail. Your driveouts will be put at the gate under your dealerships name unless a transporter is specified on the buyers sheet. If you are a cash only buyer then your driveouts will be put at the gate when funds are received.
What are my arbitration rights when purchasing a car on Simulcast?
We use the Manheim National Arbitration Policy.
Why is the vehicle description lagging behind the video of the car that is currently in the lane?
As when attending a physical auction, vehicles commonly leave the auction lane before bidding is completed.
I get a message "Your dealer number is inactive or unauthorized at the auction, please call the auction to resolve", what does that mean?
The dealership or buyer is in inactive or unauthorized status at that particular auction. You will need to call Dealer Registration at the auction you are trying to get into to resolve this issue.
Why did I not see my name in the list of names when I attempted to sign-up for Simulcast on-line?
You will need to contact Dealer Registration at the auction to activate your name in the dealership record.
Why do I receive the message "You are Currently Logged In"?
There is another session of Simulcast under your log-in that is active. Be certain that you have logged out of the session you were in previously by completely closing the window. Also, be certain that someone else is not logged-in with your username and password.
I can see video, but have no audio, why?
Check your volume level and that external speakers are correctly connected to your computer. Also, be certain that you install the plug-in when prompted. Always say "yes" to the promps when you are entering a lane and you should not have a problem.
I received a message, "Your dealer number was not found in the Dealer Master File, Contact Customer Service". How do I resolve this?
You are not registered correctly at the auction you are attempting to participate in. Contact the Dealer Registration Department to resolve.
I'm getting 1 video frame per second or less, why?
Your Internet connection speed is not adequate to support faster video delivery rates.
I clicked the "Bid" button and just after my bid, the car was sold. Where did my bid go?
If you are participating with a slower Internet connection, bids will sometimes arrive after the auctioneer has already sold the vehicle. Please attempt to bid earlier in the bidding process in order to alert the auctioneer that you have interest in that vehicle.
I received an error message when clicking on a Simulcast event that reads "An invalid franchise code was received, please contact the auction". Why did I receive this message?
The correct franchise code needed to participate in that particular sale is missing from your dealer record. Please call the Dealer Registration Department at the auction to resolve.
